idea for small map

What if we could play on a almost "infantry only " small map that:

- has 1 car ( ore 1 tank / apc ) for both teams...
- has somewhere in field a place to get 1 chopper ( both teams has to fight for it ) without spawnpoint
- has commander who isnt able to use artillery
- longer spawntime for retrieve ( some medics love doing their jobs )
- some flags on short distance
- spawnpoints long distance from flag......

If you ask me.....that is going to be fun.

Thats the server HardwareSchotte 1, isn´t it? It´s deserted and ruined by this small map.So if you ask me, let´s work on the map we have; we need:
-a script that punishes automaticlly baseraping
-different flag positions
-more information on what do to against hackers
-more active admins#
-talk about the high ping on he second BF2 demo server
...and some more.

I guess there still is some work to do before we can start to think about different maps. Wink

i never played on hardware, so......i ll try it tomorrow to see if you r right. it s my own fantasy, my idea......
The points you ve made are reasonable and i think we have to discuss them........

yah chech the small map out; I really like to play it some times but it was hard because it needs a lot of rules.For example: the small map is very good for spawn kills; it was always a problem to prevent players from doing so.
So it won`t be easy to host a samll map; not impossible and it´s surely not a bad idea, but, as I said, I think we have to do first some work on the big map.

Yeah Cobrans need a small infantry only map. BF2Demo.com Capture the city is always full and the map is so small!

Jeffrey you say "the map is so small". But you want the small map, didn`t you?
But here we see the problem: the small map is - nomen est omen- too small for really playing on it.
And (but that´s just my opinion) it´s not, what BF2 is made for: one of the greatest things about BF2 is the the possibility of using helis, choppers, jets, tanks and so on. Having a infantery only map is like driving a car with just three wheels idea for small map Icon_wink

other idea(not a big change or something) to make a spawn(flag) somewhere in the sea with the small boats spawning there pretty quick...its just an idea probably not gonna work or something but...

I´ve seen on another server a spawn point in the air in the midle between the beach and the ship; you have to parachute and can land somewhere.The problem is I have no Idea how to edit the maps...we need someone with knowledge for that

In one of you your replies you told us that we have work to do at servers pinoy and kor, so that s a reasonable reason not to make a small map, but i discovered a total new server......again big map......we've played on it together...

If we are doing small map in future, i hope we dont do that kind of small map what have cars or tanks. Small map with only town is good, i have played that map much, i am in position 4 of top scores on hardwarechotte1. When they created map with cars, server ruined and there is no players anymore. Do we really need baseraping script? When we use script raping with foot is not possible at all. Do anyone know what to do to for Mi helicopter Tv misle. It need fix.

Una you played on Hardwareschotte? Never seen you there, but ok, its some time ago I was there as active player.
Well we can discuss the small map and the base raping script as much as we want but it will all remain theory as long as we havent some guys who can modify maps and write scipts*lol
We really need some....maybe we can get some from the old hardwareschotte crew?!? have you still some connections to them? I havent seen my old friends from there for a long time; where´s haruGER, Sokolato, Tirpitz or (the overlord) SimplyGimply?

I have seen sokolatko some times but i dont know what he does. I dont have that kind of contact to that people, but if i see sokolatko i can ask if he can help us. Bobby, i know and remember you from hardware times, but we didnt talk much in that time.

Oh really? How funny! Maybe you also remeber Diana? She`s my girlfriend and was a really good player on that server. Yah, it was funny there but Im sure, we will get our server here also that great!
